SALT TEENS TALK – What Does Independent Living Look Like?

This is a great opportunity for our students & young adults to socialize with peers, while having fun in a light conversation with fun activities!
As an extension of our current SALT TALKS series presentations on Independent Living, Jefri will explore what independent living actually means to our student or young adult group. Not only about being independent but also look at the responsibility and decisions that may come with it.
Some Examples of possible Independent Living Decisions to consider:
- Will I share a house or apartment? If so, how will that look.
What about food & meals? Will you prepare your own meals, go to the grocery store or eat out?
What about paying bills or budgeting? Will someone help me with this?
What other responsibilities will I need help with?
If I have a job, what will I do for transportation?
