SALT TALKS – Remote Supports & Assistive Technology

Paula LeMaster from SafeinHome will speak about assistive technology and how it can help people with developmental disabilities live independently. We will explore what technology is available for students and young adults as well as how it can be integrated into their daily lives.

This presentation will focus on:

• How the right assistive technology can be coupled with remote supports for the best results
• Identifying what needs to consider for an individual to live alone
• Demonstrating how individuals have layered solutions tailored to their specific needs
