SALT TALKS: Understanding the OOD Services and Who They Are

SALT Talk is a monthly series that provides learning opportunities, along with resources and guidance, to families of children with disabilities so that they can successfully navigate the transition from school to adult life.

During this virtual session keynote speaker, Rachael Spangler, the Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at the Ohio Transition Support Partnership, she will discuss:

* Who OOD is?
* What role do they play in the child’s future?
* When should a parent start planning for a child’s employment future?
* When should you contact OOD?
* Who is Eligible for OOD? When can you apply?
* How do you know when a child will be employable?

All are welcome to attend! CEUs have been approved for those with an SSA certification who attend the full session. If you requested CEUs, you should receive your certificate of completion approximately two weeks after the session. Please email your request to prtpattis@gmail.com.
