Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities named Top Workplaces by Cincinnati Enquirer

Staff at the Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities are celebrating the recent designation they received by the Cincinnati Enquirer: one of the 2024 Top Workplaces. This designation is based on employee feedback through third-party employee satisfaction surveys. Amongst the nearly 2,400 companies reviewed, BCBDD’s culture was deemed one of the best. Only 124 companies made this year’s list.

“This designation confirms what we already knew here at the Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities,” said Lee Ann Emmons, Superintendent. “We are a Top Workplace because we have a top-notch staff. Our employees truly care for the people they support and foster a spirit of collaboration. That combination makes this a wonderful place to work.”

BCBDD’s placement was recently announced at a celebration dinner including top workplaces from throughout the Cincinnati Region. Of all the companies represented, one response to the BCBDD survey was read aloud as an example of a top workplace.

The slide read: “I love my job because what we do is so rewarding and makes a life-long impact on the individuals and families we serve! Our departments and teams collaborate well together in a supportive and respectful environment. We have flexibility in our work hours and offer remote work options that are conducive to a healthy and happy work-life balance. We welcome everyone and value each employee for what they uniquely bring to our agency.”
